Meh. Really just meh.
The customer service was pretttty terrible. The girl behind the window clearly did NOT want to interact with us.
Didn’t have any suggestions for picks and what we did end up with was just simply underwhelming. Pizza should have a balance of sweet and sour biting sauce with warm melty cheese and a fulfilling crust. This had none of that. Sauce was lackluster, crust was somehow burnt even though they did NOT reheat the pizza adequately. I would give this a 3 stars if probably if they had reheated our slices properly, but solid, non-melty cheese on pizza is a let down.
The tikka and Korean chicken pizza have so much creative potential….
But they honestly tasted like someone tripped and spilled their fast food Indian/Chinese takeout on a dominos pizza. (Yes I said Chinese because it tasted like an old general tso’s)

Solid NY style pizza - pies are solid and the chicken fritters are delicious and underrated. We also tried the chicken Alfredo slice and Buffalo chicken slice. Buffalo chicken was solid chicken Alfredo could’ve used a bit more sauce. Korean sauce is delicious and the ranch/garlic knots also good.

The pizza slices are small. The staff are not overly friendly. The place is clean. The pizza is very average. If you are a pizza connoisseur, you’ll be very disappointed with this place. It’s perfect for college kids who don’t mind spending $10 on two slices of pizza and a water.

Wiseguy Pizza is in the basement of a George Washington University food hall with a few other locations around Washington. The pizza is really good and will be particularly welcoming to anyone who prefers the NY-NJ style of pizza making. Great toppings choices (like baked ziti and buffalo chicken) but also all of the standards (like plain and pepperoni). A worthy stop for lunch.

Pretty good pizza. If your not from the area I would definitely give it a try. Top is Buffalo chicken and the bottom is Nashville Hot.
