Stan's Restaurant and Lounge My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Stan's Restaurant and Lounge on Thursday, and it was an experience worth sharing. Located in Washington DC, this establishment promises good food and a welcoming atmosphere, and it certainly delivered. To start, we ordered potato skins and ribs as appetizers. The potato skins were flavorful and perfectly cooked, while the ribs were tender and well-seasoned. Portion sizes were generous, setting a promising tone for the rest of the meal. For the main course, we indulged in their cut fried chicken, and it lived up to its reputation. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, it was a delight from the first bite to the last. Yet, what truly elevated our evening was the exceptional service provided by Jackie, our waitress. Her laughter and attentiveness made us feel right at home. She was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also had a knack for creating a cheerful atmosphere. Jackie's friendly and fun demeanor enhanced our dining experience significantly. And let's not forget the drinks – each cocktail is made with 4 oz of alcohol, and it was delicious. We ordered an Old Fashion and a Sidecar. Whether you prefer something classic or adventurous, the bartenders at Stan's know their craft well. Overall, Stan's Restaurant and Lounge exceeded our expectations. From the delectable food to the outstanding service and delightful drinks, every aspect of our visit was memorable. It's a great place for a date night or a casual dinner with friends. We really enjoyed this place. We had the wings, burger, and a salad. All were very good. Wings were some of the best in the area. Prices were reasonable. This place was really busy. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

My wife and I were visiting from out of town. We took the DC night tours and didn't eat before the tour. Needless to say it was pushing 11:00 pm before we thought about dinner. On our way back to the hotel, we were looking for food options still available, and Stan's came across in my search. They had me at chicken wings, and the reviews were very good. The bonus was that they are open on Saturdays until 1:30 am. The wings were as advertised, and the Mumba sauce was very tasty. The picture is a half order, BTW.... there were very few tables available as the place was busy. That is generally a tell tale sign that the food and service are great. Must try if in DC!

Jacqueline J was so sweet and helpful. It was my first time, she gave good food recommendations and was so nice and accommodating to check on me and make sure I was not only enjoying my meal but ensure I was taken care during the duration of my stay. Her energy and positive attitude really made me enjoy my experience. Wings, drink and the recommended Mumbo Sauce-delicious! She’s a keeper! Thank you honey bun! Hope to be back and served by YOU!

On our last night in DC, my bf came across Stan's, so we decided to give it a try. It was also within walking distance from our hotel. We ordered the wings as an app, and then I ordered Chicken Alfredo, and he got half a rack of ribs. The food was delicious and the service was great. I enjoyed how it was underground, I thought that was super cool about the place. I would definitely come back here if I was ever in the area again!
