This is one of my favorite places to visit in the States. I've been here twice, which means I go there whenever I'm in DC. The entire menu is savory! All the pastas and their tiramisu are exceptionally good! If I ever have the chance to take one of their cooking classes, I definitely will. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

I've lived near this place for years and always walked past it until tonight. I've been missing out! Their pasta is delicious: the perfect texture with just the right amount of sauce and a good portion size. We ordered the vodka pasta, carbonara, and cacio e pepe and they were all my favorite. The Aperol Spritz was also great and well-balanced, one of the better ones I've had in this city. The sauce on the grilled calamari was incredibly flavorful. While I very much loved the food itself, the service was somehow even better! Very kind and attentive staff. It was lovely to sit outside and watch the city go by while not feeling loud or congested. The restaurant also brought us a complimentary strawberry dessert to top off the lovely evening, which was such a nice touch and speaks to their hospitality. I'll definitely be back!!!

Very friendly staff, from the hostess to the waiters. Our waiter, Oscar, was excellent. He provided a number of recommendations and even gave us a free dessert! Food was delicious. Decent prices considering quality and portion. Would recommend!

What an absolute gem of an Italian spot! My family and I chose this restaurant to celebrate my sister's birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Let's start with the garlic bread – it deserves its own review! The aroma alone had our mouths watering, and the taste was even better. It was packed with flavor and had the ideal balance of garlic and buttery goodness. As for the arribista, it had just the right amount of kick to tantalize our taste buds. Pairing it with some freshly grated Parmesan elevated the dish to new heights of deliciousness. Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors that left us craving more. And let's not forget about the adorable cookie tin to go! Not only were the cookies deliciously sweet, but the presentation was also top-notch. It was the perfect way to end our meal and provided a sweet treat for our group to enjoy later. Overall, our experience at this Italian spot was nothing short of phenomenal. From the incredible garlic bread to the perfectly spiced arribista and the delightful cookie tin, every aspect of our meal exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be returning to indulge in more of their mouthwatering dishes and warm hospitality.

We were celebrating a birthday and had a reservation for a party of 9. Resy lets you book the large party online without having to call or go through extra hoops which I found very convenient. When we arrived we were seated right away. We shared two bottles of wine for the table. One of the bottles we ordered, the moscato, was delicious. We also shared two orders of the garlic bread for the table which was good as well. For mains I ordered the pappardelle which was a Ragu bolognese. It was ok, I didn’t find it to be as good as I hoped. Other dishes ordered were the potato gnocchi, vodka pasta, fettuccine Alfredo, carbonara, and radiatore arrabiata. When our dishes arrived we requested crushed red pepper, salt and pepper to be brought to the table, but it didn’t end up coming till everyone was almost done with their dishes. Overall I think theres better Italian food in DC, but this wasn’t bad. The fact that they were able to accommodate for our large party was a major pro, and our waiter was very friendly. It felt like they may have been understaffed at the time.
