Simply wonderful. Couldn't have picked a better place to spend me and my wife's one year anniversary. Great atmosphere, beautiful views, and amazing food. Super convenient for nights when you are seeing a play or musical. The chilled lobster and lobster mac and cheese were wonderful. Also, the combo of the chocolate mousse dessert with a cappuccino was delicious.

Had brunch here recently before a show at the Kennedy center, and sad to say, it was quite disappointing. The crab hash was bland. The salmon was dry. For $75/person, this was way overpriced.

This is a beautiful restaurant and it is convenient to eat at if you are seeing a show/performance at the Kennedy Center. Although this is the case, the food is just ok. The plating of everything looks beautiful, but all the dishes lacked flavor and the fish we ordered was dry. There are so many great restaurants within walking distance of the Kennedy Center that eating at the Roof Terrace is just not worth it in my opinion. The food is overpriced and just not great. You are paying for the convenience of not having to leave the Kennedy Center. If you do decide to eat here, don't forget to go out onto the terrace to see the beautiful views of DC either before or after your meal. You do not have to eat here to visit the terrace.

Thoroughly enjoyed brunch before a show at the Roof Terrace restaurant of the Kennedy Center. Excellent service, good Bloody Mary's, a sophisticated yet simple menu. Highly recommend.

Large open room crowded with tables so can be a bit loud and you overhear your neighbors' conversations.
Service is OK, but since most people sit at similar times, it can be a wait at times.
Food came out quickly and was tasty (salad was out within 2 minutes of ordering, even before the wine came). Fresh ingredients and flavorful food (had the spring salad, chowder, grilled Ceasar, and scallops)
