Amazing place! We got the Walter's favorite and central park sandwiches. Delicious!! And the gentleman working today (5/17) around 1:00 pm was super nice and attentive and was quick to clear any finished dishes out of our way. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! And can't wait to come back next time we are in DC.

Loeb’s is the real thing - a NYC deli in the Nation’s capital (and the ONLY one). The Walter’s favorite with melt-in-your-mouth pastrami and the apple strudel are worth a trip here alone. Don’t miss this place!

The bagel itself was great! Tasted delicious. The reason for just 3 stars was because of the service. The woman there was taking our order and she definitely looked like she did not want to be there nor take our order. Definitely had the New York attitude that I do not want to see outside of New York.

The lady at the cash register doesn’t greet her customers, has a nasty attitude, and will make you wait as she takes orders on the phone although you’ve been waiting on her before the phone ever rung. She didn’t give me a receipt, so I asked and noticed she over charged my breakfast sandwich - Turkey bacon & egg, NO CHEESE is only $6.29. Somehow everyone who ordered after me food came before mine. Quality of food is bare minimum. I do not recommend.

Loeb's is the reason I go to the dentist (it's in the building), and in general hate the dentist. Getting to come there for lunch every time afterwards is a real treat. Pastrami, Shrimp Salad, the Loeb, the Homemade old Bay chips are delicious. The lady that runs the counter is efficient, and I get my food quick and can eat it the rest of the day. I guess some reviewers on here want her to be warm and fuzzy, but I guess if you don't understand the culture and atmosphere of an authentic New York Deli, you can show it off in your reviews.
