The most wonderful thing about this place is the staff who work there. As soon as you enter they greet you, they give tastings of some things that are sold there in the store. The super delicious ice cream. The chocolates even more. The price is a little high, but it's worth getting there.

Absolutely loved this ice cream shop. Great service and fantastic flavours. I went 3 times during my stay and each one was as good as the other.
You can try a flavour if you want and the portions are very good.

Not a great place for anyone suffering from type 2 Diabetes. Other than that, if you're into sugary stuff, this is the place to visit with plenty to choose from. The fudge looks good and gooey. The chocolate is available in different sizes and packages, and plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from. Service is friendly, and the entire staff is fun, outgoing, and a pleasure to deal with.

Great location on the Wharf & just off of the 74 bus line. Friendly, helpful staff & nice selection of truffles & other chocolates in addition to many scoop ice cream flavors. There was a great seasonal Easter chocolate selection as well. My biggest complaint is that there is no indoor seating. That may work fine in clear, warm weather, but some of us like ice cream when the weather is less favorable, but will be less inclined when there is no indoor seating. At any rate, otherwise my experience today was very positive.

Kilwins is a beautiful place to grab ice cream or some sweets within the Wharf area of Washington DC. My son made a mess but loved the ice cream! This establishment is very well crafted and a great place to stop for dessert after dinner in the Wharf.
