I’ve been wanting to go to Grazie Nonna for over two years and could never get a reservation. I finally went today! Our server Aaron was so attentive. He really took care of us and made sure we had a great time and delicious food. Thank you Aaron!! The food was so delicious, portion sizes were very generous. For appetizers, we got risotto and calamari. The risotto was actually fried tomato-y risotto with mozzarella cheese inside, mouth watering. Then we got the Ham & Cheese pizza. It slayed. The caramelized onions were a perfect touch on the pizza! After we got a chicken parm that was super generous. We also got the Vongole pasta with the white wine sauce. It was so light and fresh! And don’t forget to get the tiramisu too! Vibes are immaculate and such a fun young restaurant with amazing food. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

AMAZING!!! Came here on a Sunday night with a reservation (book at least a week or more in advance!!!) and was seated immediately. The inside is small, but decorated very nice and had a great ambiance. We tried the Caesar salad, drunken love pizza, Sunday sauce pasta, vodka sauce pasta, and garlic bread. Literally EVERYTHING was outstanding. Some of the best food I’ve had in a very long time. I’m so excited to come back and try everything else on the menu. Even the Caesar salad was a standout! The service was very quick and there was barely a wait for the food. One of my new favorite restaurants!!! Absolutely loved it.

Grazie Nonna may not be a place to go during happy hour. For starters, the happy hour deal is only available at the bar from 4 pm to 6 pm, which can be a bit inconvenient if you are seated at a table. Also, seating at the bar is limited, so arriving early or right when they open is recommended. Unfortunately, the happy hour specials are not listed on the menu, so you may have to ask the bartender for the deals. They have select items screenshotted on their phones. A little unprofessional. The food options are a bit limited, but the spinach and artichoke pizza were enjoyable. The drinks were tasty, although the consistency could be improved. Overall, the service was good, and the ambiance was lovely.

We went for dinner (party of 4) on a week day evening. The crowd in the restaurant, bar, and lounge in the backroom were packed with after-work-hours office colleague get togethers, plus other Washington DC regulars you'd see downtown on a weekday night. It was lively, festive, and fun. The food is terrific, the service is beyond wonderful. Everyone (waitresses, waiters, bus persons) all stopped by to assist us at all the right times without any need for us to "look for help." We each were offered another cocktail just as the ones we had were almost empty. Our water glasses were always full. I really like this place. It is located on the street level of a modern building, and there is dining space inside, and outside! But, because of the design of the building, the outside dining area is in a covered space that feels sheltered and removed from the hub-bub of the street noise and traffic. Get in here for great food, with great service, in a great location.

Amazing Italian in the heart of DC - a new fave! Grazie Nonna has gotten a lot of hype since opening, and I now understand what it’s all about! The food is just as great as I expected, service was attentive, and the atmosphere is perfect (although a little loud). We sat at the pizza bar and loved watching the team make pizzas fresh. It was a bit busy with people walking back and forth behind us, but not too bothersome. We ordered the Sunday Sauce and the Drunken Love pizza, and both were out of this world. I could eat that pizza every day and be happy - it’s perfectly balanced, rich without being overbearing, and just utterly craveable! Will definitely be my recommended menu items for other visitors. Wine selection was solid and paired nicely with the meal. I will definitely be back; this is a great spot for out of town visitors or a special dinner!
