I went to Fogo de Chão for the first time for my birthday dinner this year and it was such a great experience! The people working here are super friendly and the service is attentive and efficient. The food was spectacular and fresh, and in particular, Rachel, Jason, and Hannah did a fantastic job of making my birthday dinner special! The meats were very tasty but I was especially impressed by the fresh salads, vegetables, and smoked salmon at the Market Table. Dining here was such a great experience and I will definitely be back!

Visiting DC for work and stopped by Fogo for a work related dinner. The service was unbelievable. Servers attending to the table needs and going above and beyond. We would highly recommend. Everyone was so friendly. The food 5 stars. Most importantly, we weren’t rushed to leave our space and could enjoy a relaxing networking event

For meat lovers this is the perfect paradise in a great location in downtown DC, friendly service, a good mix of guests and hotel feel like atmosphere. Make sure you left a bit os space in your stomach for the dessert. Our choise the brigadeiro cake and the crème brule!

My husband and I had a casual dinner here after attending an event nearby. Compared the New York location, this one in DC is more cozy and homie. The hostess asked us how our day had been, and our waiter was funny and caring. We did not do all you can eat (or “full-experience”) because we were not extremely hungry from the event, so we ordered just one type of protein each, plus the salad bar. I had sea bass, and my husband had the roasted lamb. The sea bass was soft but tender inside, and crispy outside, with perfect salt and paper seasoning. My husband loved the lamb. He got giant 6 pieces, and got to try both medium rare and medium. The restaurant was not stingy about foods, which really gave us a welcoming vibe. I loved the vege choices from the salad bar - everything was flavorful and fresh. The butternut squash soup was hot and creamy, and accommodating for the cold rainy night. Almost forgot to mention the drinks and the sides! My husband had a beer, and I had the cucumber cocktail. Both were refreshing! We did not expect the complimentary side dishes, but the plantains, mashed potatoes, and fried yam really completed the meal. We left the restaurant extremely full and warm and ready for the walk back to our hotel in the rain again. It was around 9:30 when we stepped out, and there were still people entering the restaurant. So, considering making a reservation before going.

[we’ve been to many Brazilian steak-houses, here and abroad, and this is one of the best. A bit pricey (not unexpected), but good food, nice atmosphere and FANTASTIC service. (Rachel and Jason absolutely rock the service and Gilson de Oliveira manages the place nicely).]
