My friend and I had a delightful dinner at this fine Mediterranean restaurant in City Center a while ago. The dining experience was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We loved the place's ambiance, and it had a relaxing decor that was tastefully done and made us feel as if we were in a fine resort. The service was attentive, which made our experience even better. The food was simply the best, cooked with fresh ingredients, and the chef masterfully brought out the authentic flavors of each dish. We completed our dinner with mouthwatering desserts that were simply amazing.

Food overall was great as pictured and the taste as expected HOWEVER, The waiter named Felix was a terrible waiter that even though there were two people who came after us and ordered after us we got the food the latest I feel like he did that on purpose or it was a mistake. I approached him and he ADMITTED then it was a mistake. I’m not sure why he did not tell us up front to us about it when our food was served next table but he had us wait 40 minutes for our main food to come out. Food was great however I did not like his service at all. I would not recommend anybody to go to the restaurant IF he’s there on site because he even brought out my child’s chocolate milk after half an hour after he realized it lol. Restaurant manager, she needs to do better. I don’t mind paying for food at all but the service sucked. Thank you for making my wife’s birthday awesome Felix!

Went to try Fig and Olive before the Marc Anthony concert. The restaurant is close to capital one arena and in a nice area (city center). The decor was nice when we walked in the first floor and were seated upstairs. We had a few appetizers and drinks first which were fine. The espresso martinis are both great! For entres we had Moroccan salmon and green beans and a burger both were delicious.

SUCH a cute, fun place. Perfect for a spring afternoon early dinner. I was solo and had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, the Fig & Olive Salad (which comes with a delicious and soft focaccia and olive oil - not pictured) and a flourless chocolate cake and cappuccino for dessert. It was lovely - food was delicious (SO many great flavors in that salad!), service was good (my server could not speak great English and was wearing a mask which made it difficult to communicate), and atmosphere was top notch. I would definitely come back.

I visited Fig and Olive for dinner during the Metro Washington Restaurant Week. The prix fixe menu featured a lot of the great options that they have on their regular dinner menu; and the options from the cocktail menu had a good range of various liquor bases on offer. The service was great. The server for our table was attentive despite being busy with a few tables. For my three courses I had: • Burrata di Bufala • Peppercorn-Crusted Strip Steak • Lemon & Olive Oil Cake I really enjoyed the Burrata di Bufala - it was my first time trying roasted golden beets, and it was much to my delight. The difference in textures and flavours with the beets, honey crisp apple and burrata was delicious. For my main course I opted for the Peppercorn Crusted Strip Steak, which was prepared just as I wanted it. I enjoyed this overall - but I will say I found the roasted veggies a little too salty for my liking. Overall this is a very upscale Mediterranean restaurant in the gorgeous Palmer Alley. Don’t be surprised if you see people having mini photoshoots in the alley - it is a pretty great location for unique pictures with a trendy background.
