This was hands down one of the best BBQ joints I've ever been to. Everything was just divine, and it absolutely lives up to the praise and hype you can find online about this place. I've been checking out all the recommendations and I do have to say that the brisket is just something else honestly. So tender yet so perfectly cooked and juicy, melting in the mouth. Perfection. Then the ribs, with the BBQ sauce, were amazing. And finally, I tried the wings too as everyone was praising them. My goodness... the perfect crispy texture on the outer skin, yet moist and tender on the inside, ever so slightly spicy, paired with the yellow sauce that they had there it was a match made in Heaven. Had some mac'n'cheese side, and some beans too. Slightly spicy kick in the mac'n'cheese, as others said it was probably unnecessary, but I didn't mind it personally. I'd add an actual salad as an option for the sides. The coleslaw and bean sprouts are not quite what I'd personally go for when having food like this, give us something to lie to ourselves that we're being at least a little bit "healthy". Fantastic place, will be bringing my best friend too next time I'm in the US.

This is the best restaurant in DC. The service is always top notch and the food is delicious. DCity has a large menu the offers something for everyone. Get the pulled pork as a special little side treat for your meal. Get the wings by the dozen and dunk them in the bbq sauce they have in the plastic cups. This place will not disappoint you. They have a side menu in chalk that has the best spicy chicken sandwich east of Nashville. Make sure you get a sampler platter of sides, no less than one order of the fried onions, the mac and cheese, and the brussel sprouts. DCity offers a strong happy hour and a wide selection of Jarrito drinks, a plus for me. DCity is a Bloomingdale staple and will leave you satisfied and eager to come back.

Smoked wings are why we go. They're spicy as hell to me so I enjoy them in stages. Tried the brisket once-I couldn't even handle the spice. Everything we ordered was the correct temperature, so it really helped us enjoy the food.

First time at this spot and it was on point. Be forewarned, parking is going to be a challenge but the food is worth the headache. We got the family meal...brisket, smoked wings, ribs, brussel sprouts, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Everything was fire except the brisket. The brisket was very dry, but there was a flavorful bark. The wings were popping! A must have. Don't let the three stars fool you. This is a must hit if you are in DC. I will be going back soon to see if the brisket is better. This DC spot is Drip approved!
