This is not a place to go as a couple. While it’s street parking for the restaurant, if you and a group of friends or a large family can swing it, it will be worth the trip. The staff are friendly and the environment is very casual and comfortable. The food portions are massive so don’t let the prices scare you. The zucchini fritters alone could have fed 3-4 people. Along with this we ordered veal scallopini and country style rigatoni. Needless to say we didn’t even finish half of our food. So given the amount of food and the taste, Carmine’s is a solid choice, but for large groups.

We actually dined here 2 nights in a row 🤭 Sat night - Chicken Parmigiana, Lasagna, Strawberry Shortcake- loved (and ate) it all. Yes we were 🐷 (didn’t have lunch). Louis was our waiter and service from the staff was very attentive. We sat near the pathway from the kitchen so we got to see some amazing dishes walk by. Portions are HUGE and delicious. Sun night - No reservation but walked in at 5 and it was a 45 min wait. Bar is open seating and had plenty of seats but we had a kid and could only sit at the bar high tops which were full. We were willing to wait and after 2 min, the host Kevin came by and said a table was available. We felt very welcomed and were so appreciative. Jeremy was our waiter and checked with us several times to ensure we had what we needed. He also brought us a bread basket which was such a treat. We ordered chicken Marsala, broccoli, and a kid’s chicken parmigiana (it’s an adult portion in the normal world and a steal at $10!) Tips: * Use Open Table for reservations (set an alert if your date/time is not available since things change) * Come hungry or prepared to take home leftovers * Scope out the bar if you have a smaller, adult group (they have bar specials too) * Chicken Parmigiana = YES * You can order the lunch sandwiches for dinner! We saw a meatball sandwich and a sausage/peppers walk by. All the food was great and we would order it all again but the real stars are the staff that provide such AMAZING service!!

For starters, the front desk staff were very friendly. They honored my special request that I put on my reservation in order to mess with my friend a bit. They also liked cracking jokes in general and didn't take their jobs too seriously. We had several different people attending to our table at several times. However, our main server, Charles, was knowledgeable and friendly but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. This is not something I want to experience while I'm dining. I was getting impatient waiting for him to finish explaining the menu so that I could have fresh air to breathe. The food is expensive, but the portions are absolutely massive. I would NOT recommend going with a small party and I would NOT recommend everyone ordering their own dishes. To get the most out of your money, you should go with a large group and only order a few mains and maybe a couple appetizers to share across everyone. I have a huge appetite and finished 90% of my food, but my dining partner barely made a dent in hers, thus leading to a lot of waste. To start, the bread appetizer was a bit meh aside from the one that had the herbs and the one that had the red sauce on it; those ones were very good. For my main, I got the ragu which came with Italian sausage, meatballs, and pork. The meat was all very tender, easily fell apart, and had good flavor. It's not the best I had, but it wasn't the worst by any means. The chocolate bread pudding wasn't overly sweet and was rich. The edges were crunchy from the chocolate chips burning and the inside was gooey, so I would definitely recommend it. Service was a bit slow, but I'm not upset about that because you could tell everything was made fresh and little of it was premade. The dishes were served hot and the texture gave that away too. Ending things off, the total for two people was $113 without tip, so this is not a place to go on a budget.

Enjoyed a fantastic group dinner here with a great group of people! The wait staff were very professional and kept the dishes coming. We had a specific menu for our group since we were such a large party. This is a very large restaurant but they do a great job putting out excellent food. Highlight of the evening were the stuffed mushrooms and the tiramisu.

The food was amazing. Service was slow to take our order but once we ordered the food came quick. We were seated at a table that was by the back service counter so felt in the way & the servers bumped into my chair a few times and the restaurant was not full. In honesty I did make the reservation at about 2:30 today. I would definitely highly recommend this restaurant.
